We are lucky enough to often see buzzards soaring over our house, and this ragged pair were engaged in one of these battles on a summer's mid-day. I heard the usual buzzard cry, but also the agitated shriek of a crow. I looked up and saw the crow fighting off the buzzard. I ran back into the house to grab my camera and took the chance that they would still be overhead. They were, and this is the photograph.
