A male blackbird at home foraging in the undergrowth in the brilliant greens of Spring. To get this shot I had to lay down on my belly; it sounds funny but it's not as I got quite dirty. I did this so I could blur the grass in the foreground. I wasn't sure if it would work out, as I thought the grass might cover my lens. I took the risk, and after a few shots, I managed to work it out by holding the camera a little bit higher.
